1. How environmentally friendly is the NATUREbrush really?

We, the NATUREbrush team, had the idea for an environmentally friendly version of the disposable toothbrush. By saving the plastic handle, you save 95% of the plastic and replace it with bamboo. The remaining 5% are bristles, which are made of nylon for health reasons. This is the best combination of sustainability and dental health. In addition to reducing the plastic handle, NATUREbrush saves a lot of CO2 that would be generated during manufacture, incineration and shipping. In this way, the environment and the world's oceans are protected from a flood of plastic and CO2 gases.

2. What does multi-use mean?

Multi = "multiple"
Use = "to use "
Put together it makes the word "Multiple use". Because the NATUREbrush can not only be used once, as is usual with a classic disposable toothbrush, but can be used as you like. This is not only good for your teeth, but also for the environment.

3. What material are the bristles made of?

The bristles of the NATUREbrush are made of nylon, as no equivalent hygienic and biodegradable bristle material is currently available industrially. Even if there are already more environmentally friendly variants for the bristles, nylon is currently the best material when it comes to dental health. In addition, bacteria can quickly accumulate in the cavities of the natural fibers, which is not possible with nylon.

4. How can I dispose of the NATUREbrush toothbrush?

To dispose of the toothbrush in an environmentally friendly way, the bristles must be cut off or, even better, carefully removed from the brush head with pliers. By completely removing the nylon bristles, the handle can be disposed of with organic waste and the bristles with residual waste.
You can also "upcycle" the toothbrush you have used. With upcycling, waste products or useless substances are converted into new products.

5. Where are the NATUREbrush toothbrushes made?

Our NATUREbrush toothbrushes are made where the bamboo grows, namely in China. Certainly the transport route from China is not optimal, but the perfect growth conditions prevail here, so that it can grow up to one meter per day. Against this is the fact that conventional plastic toothbrushes produce harmful CO2 gases during manufacture and combustion. The bamboo, on the other hand, converts CO2 into oxygen through photosynthesis, which is good for the environment. We think that justifies the long transport route.

6. Can I return products that I have purchased?

Yes, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving a reason. The cancellation period is 14 days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, has or has taken possession of the goods. Please note that in the event of a cancellation, the seal on the packaging must be undamaged, otherwise we cannot take the goods back for hygienic reasons. You can find out more in our cancellation policy in the terms and conditions.

7. Is the NATUREbrush toothbrush vegan?

Yes, the NATUREbrush toothbrush is vegan. The handle is made of bamboo and the bristles are made of nylon for health reasons.

8. Why are there no different colors?

The color white is next to black the most environmentally friendly color, as no other dyes are required for the production. So we decided to use the color white for ecological and visual reasons.

9. What is special about the NATUREbrush?

There are many advantages with the NATUREbrush. The biggest, besides the ecological approach, is the application time. We had the idea for the first disposable toothbrush made of bamboo with multi-use option, which can not only be used once but further as desired.

10. Why does a NATUREbrush cost more than a conventional disposable toothbrush?

Quality and environmental protection have their price. Therefore, on the one hand, the manufacturing and material costs are significantly higher than with the conventional plastic variant. On the other hand, our toothbrush can also be reused several times due to its high quality. These factors justify the low, but still worthwhile, surcharge.

11. How long does shipping take?

The delivery time within Germany is 2-6 working days and internationally 2-14 working days (special orders / bulk orders excluded). Working days are Monday-Saturday, with the exception of public holidays in Germany.
